  today my brother a non witness gave me a phone call.. .

  he spoke about this, that and the other.

  he then said that my oldest brother (an elder) was having his 25th wedding anniversary.

  I suggest you find something better to do with your time that day. Besides the fact that you know you are unwelcome (no matter what any other relatives may say), you know it will be dull as dry toast.

  Mud slide in WA state - sister at Assembly

  look for it in the yearbook next year.

  there was an assembly the day of the big mudslide in washington last saturday.

  a sister's life was saved because she obediently attended the assembly and thus was not home when a huge mudslide hit her neighborhood and buried and killed lots of people.

  A woman in my old hall was in a wreck on the way home from an assembly. Her witness husband was killed and she was badly injured. Her injuries in the wreck led to the acceleration of her dementia and by the time I quit attending she was beginning to forget some of the basic witness beliefs, like only 144,000will go to heaven.

  A medical question.

  i have been having pain in my left hip for around 4 years.

  got worse this winter.

  hurts at night, after walking and periods of inactivity.

  I have sciatica - it's a sharp pain in my hip that shoots down my leg sometimes. Mostly it just stays in my hip though. The chiropractor helps, but it's too expensive to pay for unless I'm in really bad shape. Mostly it comes and goes without intervention.

  not really looking forward to it as it is the first one i will go to after finding out many things on this forum.

  since the last assembly i have read coc, in search of christian freedom, and some of the gentile times reconsidered.

  we attended several different congregations in different states, and the one common thread among them all was...if you had your study article highlighted, you were a good jw.. honestly, how often did you cover over your magazine when the attendant walked by handing out copies to visitors?.

  I was always a slacker - I rarely marked my magazines. I don't like to mark up books or magazines, it just feels wrong. If I want to make notes, I do it in a notebook.
